Why adding an island to your kitchen is a wonderful idea?
When we cook a lot we seem to always need more space in the kitchen.. don’t we?
Additional counter space for food preparation, a few extra cabinets for storage and stuff, maybe an extra sink and faucet, a cool minibar for drinks or simply just some extra outlets for our food processor and other smaller electrical appliances. In any case, most people find it an inexpensive, great solution for their kitchen as opposed to having only vacant space in the center part of the kitchen.
Having an island could be an opportunity to add additional cabinet color to our kitchen making it feel more diverse and multicolored. “Breaking” the pattern and /or color of the rest of the kitchen makes the island part a kind of a separated section for eating in, or for extra food preparation.
The island can be use as a breakfast table for lighter meals and drinks.
